After the Great Britain Beer Festival, in London, all the brewery presidents decided to go out for a beer. The guy from Chang sits down and says, "Hey bartender, I would like the world's best beer, a Chang." The bartender dusts off a bottle from the shelf and gives it to him.
The guy from Budweiser says, "I'd like the best beer in the world, give me 'The King Of Beers', a Budweiser." The bartender gives him
one.
The guy from Heineken says, "I'd like the only beer made with fresh spring water, give me a Heineken" He gets it.
The guy from Stella sits down and says, "Give me a Coke." The bartender is a little taken aback, but gives him what he ordered.

In 39 years the Dodentocht has become one of the most important hiking events in Europe. It all started in 1970 with 65 participants; now it has grown into a plus-9,000-hikers event!
There must be a good reason for an event to be this successful.
The ever-present ambiance, the more than 50,000 spectators along the entire track (in the provinces of Antwerp, Eastern Flanders and Flemish Brabant), the smooth organization and the unique atmosphere distinguish the 100 km Dodentocht of Bornem from other hikes and makes it a unique experience.
In Bornem there are no rankings or records; it's all about your own performance. The reward is a certificate, a medal and a feeling of satisfaction when you cross the finish line.
The international Dodentocht shows that tolerance and friendship between people is possible. Acceptance of and respect for others are the true Dodentocht ideals.

This one of my favorite beers, golden-yellow appearance, great taste with a beautiful head of long-lasting white foam...mmmmm. When my family and friends come to visit me I always ask if they can bring some Duvels with them. Lucky for me I have the tulip shaped glass because Duvel tastes better in it.
After world war I, the Moortgat brewery created an ale they called "Victory Ale" until someone tasting the beer called it "Nen echte duvel" (flemish for "A real devil"). Since then, the beer was marketed as Duvel. The brand struggled at first, but it eventually became the flagship of brewery Moortgat, and one of the best known Belgian beers in the world.
A unique beer deserves a unique glass. At the end of the sixties, the Duvel glass was the first tulip shaped glass that allowed a 33-cl. bottle to be poured in one. No similar beer glasses existed up until then. The glass allows a more complete experience of the beer: the bulbous shape releases Duvel’s heavenly flavours and aromas. Since the glass narrows towards the top, it helps to preserve carbon dioxide and therefore the head. It also allows a better division between beer and froth in the same glass, where a classical glass would leave only froth.
The inner circle inside the bottom of the Duvel glass also causes the beer to sparkle subtly upwards to its luxurious head. For the last couple of years this engraving has been given the shape of a ‘D’, the first letter of the Duvel logo!
The Moortgat brewery started growing enormously around 1970. In 1999, Moortgat brewery was introduced into the Belgian stock market with a new name "Duvel Moortgat". Ever since, Duvel Moortgat uses his flagship Duvel to export more beers to over 40 countries.

Belgian Beer : Deus Brut des Flandres
Country: BelgiumBrewery: Brouwerij Bosteels
Beer: Deus
ABV: 11.5%
Flavour: 6
My parents came to visit me and took 2 bottles from Belgium. I am lucky to be a Belgian living in Brazil because a bottle of Deus costs between 200 and 300 R$ here in Brazil. Last week we opened up a bottle to celebrate one year of marriage. I have to say that I was expecting more of it, but it was not bad. Brazil also has a 2 types of "Champagne Beer" but until now it did not find them in any shop, it´s called "Eisenbahn Lust and Eisenbahn Lust Prestige" from the Eisenbahn brewery in Blumenau (South of Brazil).
The beer is fermented, somewhat conditioned, and shipped off to the Champagne region of France, where it's placed in caves for twelve months of pampered maturation. Additional fermentable sugars and yeast are added, and the beer is bottled and placed neck-down in special racks. It's periodically turned and the angle of steepness is slowly increased, causing the yeast to detach from the sides of the bottle and migrate toward the neck. This is the traditional process of “remuge” that's used to produce the region's finest champagnes. The bottles are then rotated to vertical and the necks are frozen, which forces the yeast out of the neck using only the ambient pressure in the bottle, in a process known as “degorgement.” The final process, “dosage,” adds beer back to compensate for the loss due to degorgement, and the bottles are corked, bailed, and dressed for gala events.
A fluted champagne glass is ideal for serving. The beer pours with an intense foam that rocks up and easily overflows the glass. Miniscule champagne-like bubbles emanate from the bottom and sides of the glass as the beer emits a rousing aroma of refined malt, yeast and a hint of undisclosed spices.
